Operation
The choice of classical or endoscopic tecniques to be used on the operation is decided by considering sagging, looseness of cheek and wrinkled areas. If sagging of the face and/or wrinkles on the facial skin occur, we use classical face lift operation. In the classical face lift, insicion starts from the temporal hair line, continues to preauricular line and ends on the post auricular hair line. In the face lift operation, excessive fat tissue of the lower face and excessive skin are removed and aesthetic suturation is made. Endoscopic technique, a newer procedure than classical tecnique, is used, if there in not sagging of face and excessive skin. Endoscopic technique is more preferred on young people. Small incisions are used at endoscopic tecnique.
After the operation
Swelling and bruising are seen after the operation, which are normal and temporary. The first 3-4 days after the operation keeping the head about the chest level is important. The person can go back to work within 10 days.
